A. The online submission page of Nanomission is not displayed

 (i) Try using it after switching off your machine's firewall.

 (ii) If you are behind proxy server and not able to access the application, please ask your network administrator to open the port 8543, as this port is being used by the website.

B. Issues in using Mozilla Firefox browser?

While using the Mozilla Firefox, you may have to add the NIC-CA certificate as an exception to run this website.

C. Issues in using Inernet Explorer browser?

While using the Internet Explorer, if you find any message like, "There is a problem with this website's security certificate", use the link "Continue to this website (not recommended)".

D. Forgot Login Name or Password?

Send a mail to nanomission-dst@nic.in mentioning your Name, Date of Birth, Institute, Title of Project. You will get a link re-create the password.

E. My password is locked. Now how to proceed?

Send a mail to nanomission-dst@nic.in mentioning your Name, Date of Birth, Institute, Title of Project and LoginId. You will receive a mail mentioning about how to go ahead.

F. How to Start?

Read instructions carefully on the website http://nanomission.gov.in

G. Can I submit more than one project?

Yes, you only need to submit the Project Executive Summary to initiate a new project.

H. Can I change my email while submitting the project?

Email is the only way of communication and hence is not allowed to be changed.

I. What if, there is no Co-PI for the project proposal?

You can very well apply and write Not-Applicable in the formats against the details of Co-PI.

J. Are there any special characters that should be avoided while completing PPDs?

Please avoid using special characters like bullets, tabs while entering the data.

K. Any special instructions while filling PPDs?

Please try to fill all columns that are displayed, even if they seem to be non-mandatory.
